where are the ATT anouncements, why don't they want the good feelings to roll over to them?
As explained in the other thread, the activation numbers will be released with the quarterly report, as is the standard for listed companies. The fact that they have not done a midquarter sales report is normal, not unusual.

If you follow Apple, you'll know that Apple shares almost always fall after new product announcements. People buy on the rumour and sell on the news.
A consistent pattern, wow. That sounds like a money machine.

Look at the Nintendo Wii. People are buying it because it is great, not because of the hype.
Considering there are only a handful of games > 80% on metacritic/gamerankings, I think you just picked a TERRIBLE example.

The only reason that ATT should release activation numbers is if the sales figures are misleading. By not releasing activation numbers they are saying that the sales figures are correct.

Let's try this again.
I told you it had nothing to do with how well it's selling. Then you came back and asked if it had to do with how well it's selling again. I tell you no. Then you act all confused again.

LOL
That is some ****ed up logic. I'm not the only person questioning activation rates, especially considering the last time they announced it, they did not match "Sold" numbers (or even come close).
Investors are assuming AT&T's activation numbers are still lacking, and their refusal to confirm or deny has hammered their stock.
AT&T should release activation numbers if it'll correct misconceptions that are hammering their stock that activation numbers are lacking.

The second time I asked you it the article was saying that the iphones "are not" selling well.

Yes, I noticed you ignored context and amusingly did not comprehend what was being said. It's a pattern.

I read that, I must've missed links regarding this (I'm not being sarcastic here)

Yeah, it pretty much is. Everyone always complains on the mac fan sites about the stock going down after a keynote. They think that when God speaks, people should be more respectful, I guess.

Who else cares about the activation rates at this point? I'm not talking about people here. I'm talking about analysts.

Again, low stock price simply means that some investors expectation have not been met. It doesn't mean that investors think ATT has a huge amount of inventory. If you claim otherwise plz post a source.

Oh, but it makes sense that they kept ordering more inventory and kept the public in the dark about it.

This is nonsense. The stock goes up, or down, depending how disappointing the keynote was.
Eg, MacWorld 2007 on January 10th
January 9th: 92.57
January 10th: 97.00
