  • I've met a Russian girl in Caen. She seemed nice
But the more scary thing were the Germans I've met there. Almost all, boys and girls, seemed nice. If I meet some more Germans, I may actually stop loathing them.
But for Russians, fortunatelly, it is not possible as long as Serb is here

    • Serb doesn't represent all Russians. Just most of them.

Do Poles in general still loathe Germany? If feelings of the average person towards a country go from 1 (worst) to 10 (best) and those of the average Frenchman towards Germany are 5, where are those of the average Pole towards Germany?

OK, I probably overdid that question.

Im general, polish attitude towards all neighbour nations has improved a lot during last 20 years. Germans cause a bit more antipathy than sympathy. But only a bit. Americans were the most believed nation for most of the time, with Italians, French, British and Czechs just behind. The French lost some support, but not as much as Americans, who aren't in top 10 anymore. Due to recent emmigration, the Irish suddenly became nr 1.
                    So say the polls.
But there is nothing like general polish opinion of some nation. There are huge regional differences when it comes to politics. See the map. It shows presidential elections. The deeper blue, the more Kaczynski got.
Black border is from before ww1, red - before ww2.
Usually it was a bit different, like Wloclawek region was always left-winged, and somehow this time it was not (perhaps because the liberals played a dirty trick on left wing forcing its very popular candidate to back off the race, and left-winged people prefered to vote on Kaczynski than on liberals). Kielce region was never that right-winged as well, nor was eastern major Poland or southern Lublin region. Never mind. It's an interesting map anyway. i pointed to some minorities that are visible on the map, as well as to that bigger cities in general were less supportive of Kaczynski than rural areas.

Actually, we have a common border with Russia (Krolewiec / Kaliningrad), unlike with Austria

Other possible answer is that Kaliningrad should be part of Poland

                            Negative. We should revive Koenigsberg.
