Boo hoo. Does that mean I have to place a rider in my reply saying that your words must be seen in the context of someone so enamoured of the Republican rightwing even paranoid drug addicts like Nixon get a whitewashing ?

It's really not that hard, molly bloom.
I feel so chastised now. Did you get that retort from 'The BabyBush Book Of Wit '?

If so, get your money back if at all possible.

If they gunned the engine when authorities tried to pull them over I could see force being warranted. You have no idea what weapons/ bombs can be disguised in a car. Otherwise no. I think to use lethal force you need something a little more than someone trying to sneak by.

From the article it seems they were pretty much "waved through" a couple of checkpoints but then were "pulled over". This says to me that the comedians were not so stupid as to try to push the issue. If they would have run from police, it is easy to forsee some tragic consequences

It also says to me that while the security might have been flawed in letting these guys through a checkpoint, they were not given free pass in the zone and were fairly quickly detained.

So security learned as lesson in a painless way, no one wass hurt , and the comedy show gets a good story and probably a boost to their ratings.

                  WIN WIN IMHO

actually they weren't caught, they stopped a few metres short of Dubya's hotel and the guy dressed as Osama hopped out of the limo and started walking to the hotel

I suspect they didn't want to test the patience of trigger happy Secret Service agents

either way, was a hoot that they got through two check points

considering they were expecting to be pulled up at the 1st one and do their gag lines at that gate, where they had their camera teams ready etc

they were shocked to get through one gate
then to get through the 2nd

personally I think some of these leaders think way too much of themselves and their blessed security

next time they should all piss off back down the road to Canberra, a city that was purpose built for such occasions

sadly is has **** water views
