Apple's "pwnage" scared the **** out of shareholders, and indicated that iPhone sales were not nearly at the level they wanted them to be -- indicating a pricecut. A massive one.

But you're claiming that that is because of lack of sales. The product is the top seller though. I'm just saying, maybe it didn't meet expectations, but it still sold plenty. And obviously it sold at a very high margin. So with the lower price we should expect it to sell even better. Right?

The iPhone price cut could either be a marketing scheme or indicate poor sales. We won't know that for sure until Apple reports in October.

However, Apple does not need to sell a single iPhone to beat their own earning guidance.

You do not seem to understand that while Apple "sold" lots, the vast majority of these sales were on the launch date and likely not sustained. Additionally, many of Apple's "sales" were to AT&T stores who did not sell very much of them.

The writing was on the wall with the low activation numbers compared to Apple's PR "sales" numbers. You're a victim of PR, and not paying attention to reality.

If iPhone sales were genuinely staying strong, the price cut would not make sense...let alone a massive one.

The evidence is all there.
