Apparently she said something about NAFTA, but I can't get the refered video to work; if anyone else does, can you tell me what she said?
Apparently, turning our 300 Million dollar surplus into a ~50 billion dollar trade deficit has harmed Mexico so that she can no longer earn a "living wage". But hey, no problem, we'll just end Nafta.

Yeah, the Mexicans provide fruit-picking, landscaping and pool-cleaning services, and it's not like they can compete with the rich.

DinoDoc: it doesn't say when she was first deported; somewhere between 1997 and 2002. However, it says she returned days after the deportation, which means she had only a few hours to get knocked up in Mexico even if she were deported in 1999 (around the time she would have gotten pregnant with her 8yo). I suppose she could have fooled around with another illegal, though.

Well in any case, it's clear that American or no he's irrelevent as far as this discussion is concerned as the mother refused to take the child with her prefering to abandon him to the care of people on the US side of the border who seek to exploit him and the plight his mother forced on him.

I thought you'd be against bad and abusive mothers given your experiences with your ex, Kid.

What would you call treating your child as a human shield, political pawn, and ultimately abandoning him?

I see an individual trying to make the best situation for her child. I don't see how you can compare that to my ex-wife. It's hard not to be an American citizen sometimes bud.

I see a mother who only cared about being with her son only when she thought it would keep her on this side of the border despite her repeated acts of criminal behavior and when that fell through she cut him loose taking the opportunity to relieve herself of the responsibility.
