For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

Immigration laws are an oppresive tool of the moneyed elite, and entirely in contradiction with free-market policies. They should be abolished entirely. This is about as much of a crime as smoking dope: a law which arises not from reason but rather fear and greed.

Totally dissagree. A pot head costs me nothing. Enough illegal aliens can cost me money. I don't consider that greed.

She claimed immunity from the law simply because she had a child.

It's not the moneyed elite who are opposed to Mexican immgrants.

Babydaddy has no legal means to prevent her from seeking immunity; that claim was about consequences for her, not their child, and so not his business (in the eyes of the law, at least). He could prevent her from taking the kid with her by claiming custody.

Isn't that the very definition of greed?

Greed, greediness denote an excessive, extreme desire for something, often more than one's proper share. Greed means avid desire for gain or wealth (unless some other application is indicated)
Fair share is the opererative phrase.
I have no problem with those that come to work and contribute to the general welfare. (within certain numbers limits of course) But to those that come across to have babies just for them to be US citizens, I have a problem with that.

I'd say it's quite applicable. It's OK - just accept it. I'm totally against unlimited immigration too, partly because of greed. But there's no need to deny what it is, and if it's because enough of it might cost you some money, then, yeah, it's pretty much greed.

Depends on what you call excessive or extreme. Most people against illegal immigration are middle to lower class citizens. We're not worry about losing our vast riches, just the little pittance that we've worked so hard for. If you think that's excessive, then it's greed. I don't call it greed. I do call it greed when companies are for illegal immigration because they make more money from hiring said illegal immigrants.
