      What a twit.
Actually, he asked Amy what she thought the biggest problem facing the world was, and she said, "Nukes."

It's probably not wise to use your kid as a Presidential advisor.

It's more worrisome, though, for it to take the Russian invasation of Afghanistan for him to realize the Soviets couldn't be trusted.

That was almost as bad as Reagan trusting in the Laffer Curve to argue he could increase military spending, cut taxes and balance the budget.

Didn't Reagan employ astrology or something?

              Nancy did.

Kennedy would be considered a right wing nut by today's left. But...bring back Jackie

Fair enough. but if he'd run in 1908, he would have won. More TR + no Wilson in 1912; damned shame he kept that promise even as long as heh did.

At the same token, LESS TR, no Wilson in 1912 . TR + Taft in 1912 easily beat Wilson. Now, La Follette may have gotten some votes, but not enough, IMO, to prevent Taft from winning.

Add up the votes TR and Taft got in the 1912 election. Compare them to Wilson's. I'm sure the EC would have looked totally different.

True, true. And Lafollette wasn't running; forth major candidate was Debs, who wouldn't have siphoned off any GOP votes.

Except these policies made Reagan single handedly responsible for the economic growth in the 90 when combined with the Contract with America and the 94 congress.
