Monroe was a sharp guy, too. Let's give him a try.

This thread makes me think of all the celebrity heads-in-jars in Futurama.

Hahaha, Al Bundy is one of my favourite people ever. Ed O'neil or something. He is pretty badass too in real life.. I mean a nice guy, but he can kick ass for real. Brown belt in bjj under Gracie, been in the game for the last.. 14 or 15 years. That's a LONG time. I'd like to hang out with that dude.

Yes sir, you can see he is built strong, low body fat ratio.

Maybe from trying to impress Christina Applegate

Actually, TR made the same pledge and kept it -- to his everlasting regret; I believe he called making that pledge the single biggest mistake of his life.

Jefferson's vision of how a democracy should work (small, decentralized government, largely agrarian economy) was so at odds with how the modern US works that it's hard to imagine him presiding over the country successfully today.

Ronald Reagan (probably the best President America has ever had,) or Andrew Johnson for his opposition to a Federal Reserve and his role in the expansion and consolidation of the United States against foreign forces.

Oh my, that's really a tough one for me to answer..

I'd say Lord Nuclear appears to be on the right track there.

I find it funny that people who are (rightly) concerned about the abuse/stretching of Executive power under Bush are asking for FDR back. Hmm.

For some reason, Eisenhower comes to mind. At least you wouldn't have to teach him all about nukes. He'd still have plenty to learn, but he's seen cars and planes and missles before...

The trick isn't to break some eggs to make an omelette, it's convincing the eggs to break themselves in order to aspire to omelettehood.

That's why I said Jefferson Davis. He was a big proponent against abuse of federal power...even way before the Civil War. He once turned down a commission in the militia offered by President Polk becase he believed that the President did not have the authority to grant it.
