Possibly because it makes little sense and has no empirical basis? I'd consider dropping this if you'd actually give me a cogent explaination of a) why an anti-war arguement is any weaker in the face of a volunteer army and b) how exactly a volunteer force destablizes the world rather than just expecting me to take these assertions at face value.

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

Yea, cause Senators don't know how to get their kids deferred.

But you believe the sins of the father should pass to their children? I hardly see why an individual should be forcibly sent to war and possibly lose their life because a vote cast by one of their parents.

The draft is a horrible idea for a multitude of reasons.

The upper class is over represented in the military.

Starting at post #117. We were actually talking about casualties, not service memebers, but that is a more important metric anyways.

The first bit concerns race arguement is on race, then it gets into class.
