it smells nasty and drunk people are irritating, boring, or amusing in exactly the way I don't want to be.

I didn't drink alcohol until I was 21 or 22 (after I graduate college).
After a period of depression brought about by a lot of things, I decided to change my lifestyle, and binge drinked a lot for a couple years. Now, however, I rarely drink.. although I am not a complete teetotteler.

The only time when a little bitof alcohol was amazing (tthere have bene times were a lot was great ) was after a week of meetings, and I had been a bit sick, and I was seriously stressed for a presentation the next morning, etc... and a class of wine was amazing. Just took all the stress/etc right out of me.
