That's roughly my speed when it comes to Harry Potter books.

I'm getting the book in under two hours.

That included time to eat/etc.. but was some years ago.

As I said, Kuci can kick my ass, I think, so I don't want to compete anymore.

I'll be getting the book in an hour. I'm between 100th and 150th in line. I'm going after the celebrations (cause I'm not a total geek like Imran). Also, I don't need a costume because I have a scar on my forehead and wear glasses.

Lines? I just went to Kroger, there were plenty to be had... the only line was at the u-scan.

I've reserved a copy at my local library. They have 20 copies and I'm 15th in the queue = me getting the book sometime soon.
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

                  I just finished reading it.

I had booked a copy a few months in advance. At around four twenty-five, I went to the place where I had booked it, gave the guy the little slip, he gave me the book. There was no crows, no lines, nothing. I know that guy and I asked him how much that particular branch had sold (it's a chain bookstore, with branches scattered over Pune). Sales were good.

No. I finished reading it more than a day before you, silly.

                        Well. screw you.

I had the book four days before it was officially released, because of the leaked copy, I just didn't read it then because I didn't want to spoil the fun. Nothing beats a good dead-tree.

Is crime really so rampant in India that not even book releases are safe?

Well ya'll all beat me. My husband went and got it for me at a midnight release as an early birthday present, but so far after 1 day I'm only on page 110. It seems that life and work got in the way.

Every flippin' time I sat down to read something always happens. But I'm still working on it.
