Why is this forum even more lively now that everyone left?
I am forced to concur with EoN. That show blows chunks on a level previously unimagined. In the fifteen years or however long it's been since it ended, all the animation studios of Japan have not been able to surpass that hemorrhoid-grunting, two-frame-repeating, epilepsy-inducing flashy-light-fest for sheer wretchedness. Except possibly Dragonball GT, which is just an extension of the same crud and so doesn't really count.
Exactly lalz!!
How anyone can watch that show for more than 2 minutes is beyond all comprehension. Watching it is like some odd paddo experience, but whilst at the same time actually being sober
PS: The only time this forum was really worthwhile was when MWHCII joined the rant on death penalty discussions

Was MWHCII (what is his real name) banned?

I'm not sure who all the Good Old Boys are who've supposedly left for good, leaving Poly a lifeless hulk. I can think of two regular posters who've gone since I came to this place in '03: Agathon and Paiktis. I admit we could use more Stalinist canuck advocates of book-burning around here, just for balance.
Well well well...
Odd that I should turn on AIM today (a rare occurrence for me) and be told to come and have a look at this place.
I must say that I had a pretty good laugh.
FTR I stopped posting here because I felt that the moderators weren't doing enough to stop the pointless mudslinging and dogpiling that had come to dominate the site (not that I was entirely innocent in this regard). Rather than post pointless whine threads about it in the community forum, I just thought it better to stop, since most other people on the site seemed to have no problem with it (and I did). It is almost exactly one year since I last made a post. I never thought I could have spent that long away from a site that I used to visit every day.
I'd been posting less and less and then I decided to chuck it in. Some of my favourite posters, like Ted, also left for what seemed to be similar reasons (and a couple of ex-posters told me this privately after I left).
Perhaps Mark and Dan have come to the conclusion that the site cannot function as a troll filled cesspit, which can only be a good thing IMHO.
And I take offence at Elok's post, since I am neither a Stalinist nor a Canadian. The book burning accusation is fair enough though.
