does porn push people over the edge though?

Which serial killer used porn as his excuse? I can't remember. Although he may have been lying about that. I think most people our predisposed to becoming serial killers, but perhaps porn can push them over the edge.

Ted Bundy, and no, thats one of the BS excuses serial killers use to avoid responsibility. I saw a naked woman and it made me a rapist and murderer, ya ya ya...

So Pat Robertson and some feminist announce how "porn" made poor Ted kill those women while ignoring the fact 99.999% of people who see porn dont become maniacs. Why is that, Ted?

I saw a straw and it told me it wanted to drink peoples blood.
Ban straws or they'll make me kill !

All those poor Japanese kids who won't be able to get their tentacle hentai supplements and going crazy if this goes through, now that's scary.

It is curious why such kneejerk stances are taken against porn and games rather then films. They find an 18rated game in somebodies collection and they've just killed somebody and omg it must be the games fault. However they find a killer has just watched the same violent film 73 times in a row and the reaction seems to be it was because he was bullied or anything to deflect.

It's even more curious that books are completely uncontrolled. No age restrictions or anything, even though even mainstream novels often go far further than almost any film. The 'Hannibal' novels, for example.

The government has no business banning this sort of thing. I believe "Government governs best when it governs least." That said, both snuff films and rape films seem over the top.
