A bit worrying, I hate this kind of banning of things that the ruling party find objectionable. I think our government try and legislate a lot of things that shouldn't be legislated. My fear is the ability to detain for 3 months without charge that the government keeps pressing for. Very worrying

I wonder when they'll start legislating against Thoughtcrime .

Actually that is pretty scary .

UK is a bit mad like USA, just in a somewhat different way.

That's an idiotic definition, since the government intends to encourage the purchase and use of the information it's supposedly censoring.

                What is violent porn?

Sometimes(really) I take a look on porn.. more I see it evolving, more I find that it always become more "extreme" than before.

Rape video. A market shouldn't exist for vile things.
I call it vile. I don't say all need to be the same, but some things cross the line.

It's not just the market, it's a full ban. If a couple uses a video recorder whilst doing something 'vile' and keeps the footage soley for themselves, they still face up to three years in prison.

When looking at porn, the long-term trend is actually towards liberalisation. It's only within the last 10 years that the 18R certificate has been used to effectively legalise hard-core porn.

Porn is not evolving - it is devolving. Porn hit its high water mark decades ago.

they'll have to ban violence in books then, huh? Or books that have rape "scenes" written out. This is about thought crimes, this is the same "logic" behind women covered in burkas so men wont get turned on. Hide me from temptation, oh Lord...
