Is that what you call cherry picking? Cause that's a lie.

You know it would be better if you could get someone else to post the non-bat**** stuff you want to post, Slaughter. I initially didn't believe you as a kneejerk reaction.

Perhaps if you brought up an example that lieing was widespread, instead of just making it up because such a thing would suit your world view, I would take you seriously.

But you won't and can't so be gone.

The original premise is stupid as I said. Recruiters by and large don't lie, they just cherry pick. What type of recruiter doesn't do that?

If you are too stupid to figure out "you can go to Hawaii" is not the same as "you will go to Hawaii," that's your own damn fault. Especially since everything you want to know is right there on paper for your convenience.

Patrokolos, why do you find it so incredulous? The fact is that human trafficking is rampant in the middle east cultures. Thanks to slaughter for reinforcing the need for 20th century (let alone 21st century) enlightenment into an otherwise barbarous culture. Shout out to Slaughter for reinforcing the need for US Iraq involvement to prevent these types of activities were the locals left to their own without western oversight.

Dino's upset because he thought he was going to an Iraqi slavery thread but instead ended up an a military recruitment lying thread. And he's not even Filapino.

The very title disqualifies your arguement.

You do realize "The Military" is 3 million + people, and there are 100 thousand odd recruits a year, right?

In my 23-year Air Force career, I never once got my first choice (or even my second or third choice) for an assignment. On the other hand, one of my buddies put Hawaii as the first choice on his dream sheet in tech school and got it right off. (I beat him senseless with a coconut shell). He continued on through a 20-year career, getting his first or second choice every single time. Dang those Assignment-Gods.
                                Sour grapes?
