What Are Your Chances of Surviving a Zombie Apocalypse?

Prisons would be good if you could get into it failing that a concrete building should be strong enough to keep the zombies out if you can block the doors and windows. It seems a sports stadium would also be good since they all don't have windows on the ground floor, have iron fences around them, and the have those metal roll down doors to block the entrences. You'd have to bring weapons with you but you'd have enough defrosting hotdogs, beer, and hot dog buns to last you for weeks.

I was just talking generally. Fleeing into the wilderness would probably be the best course of action, if you have the necessary skills to survive out there long-term. Probably not a smart option for most people, though.

Probably hard to seal up. Also likely to have zombies inside by the time you get there, given the amount of people that pass through them every day.

I would grab the nearest weapon (currently a large knife, or an assortment of tools) and begin fighting to the death!

Unless they are the super fast zombies from that movie (forget its name), in which case I grab my bible, my baby blanket, and hug them both as I curl into a fetal position crying to God that I was too ignorant before to see the truth, and hope he would smite the zombies before they get to me.

28 days later does provide inspiration for protection in the form of tall towers. Seems much safer than low-rise fortress-types, since those are easily climbed.

Ideally, you'd want a tower with a smooth facade and a flat roof. The flat roof allows for gardening. A dilemma is that the greater the footprint of a tower, the greater the extend of the roof, and the taller the tower, the harder it is to climb, but also the greater the number of entrances.

Is this wall-climbing-zombies idea a 28 Weeks Later thing? I haven't seen that movie yet and I don't recall ever having seen a zombie climb anything more than a mound of debris.

A bunch of zombies could fall, and the other zombies would step on them, and they could fall too, and eventually they'd create a slope to overcome the wall.
