I've been pretty consistant as an OT poster since I registered. Can't say for those who have bothered to post On Topic. So, as far as I am concerned, you haven't, and EotN is just as much a stranger. Not that you haven't been, you just haven't been in my world. And, there are plenty.Comment

Drixnak is the only name change I saw in the log, and I haven't seen him in the OT, at least not rememberable. I ain't claimin' to be a civer, though I do play a ton, just not online or on any of the games here as I spend to much time on the OT. Expecting me to know who you are when you don't exist where I do is about as stupid as expecting Sloww to know what a white christmas looks like!Comment

hehehe The reason it only shows one change in the log is because...hmmmmm...how to explain this. Lets just say some names get deleted and others get created or banned, but there is always 1 main name that I have assumed over the years and I always in the end revert back to this one. On the MSN gaming zone I had over 180 names registered there so you can imagine how many names I have posted with on here over the past 8 years.Comment

Slowwhand knows first hand my use of fake names. I played him in civ2 enough times under them. He was the biggest sucker of all.

If you knew who I was then things wouldn't be as fun. It was far more fun getting people into games and pretending to be a beginner, telling them how awesome they were while I had 60+ cities to their 5 and Dragoons. That's the biggest thing missing in Civ4. Leads in Civ4 is like you get 1 more city than the other guy and you get construction 5-10 turns sooner than the other guy. There's not the separation between players like there was in Civ2 so not only are name changes pointless, but you can't do anything special. Maybe Civ5 will fix this...probably not.Comment
