Before 'poly I played Civ1 on an Amiga, then downloaded Civ2 scenarios from 'poly in fall '98, then joined gameleague in october '99 which exposed me to the forums so I lurked about until finally making my account.

Really, Civilization and Apolyton have been downhill since the end of Civ2's popularity and gameleague. I really hope Firaxis goes back to the original civilization model for Civ5 or I don't think the game will sell. Any idiot can be good at Civ4, and with the upcoming slavery nerf...oh my god, pre-slavery original Civ4 all over again=end of multiplayer.Comment
