The only thing I can think of is that my integrated ethernet card is going on me. Anyone have any experience with this? Is this possible? Nothing has changed, and my speed is definitely capped so if it's not the ISP it has to be a hardware issue.Comment

EoN, since your connection speed has slowed down and your brother's has not...it sounds to me that you just might have some spyware programs running on your system which in turn, is slowing it down.____________________________

It's definitely not spyware. I just ran a check and only 3 popped up that were very mild and certainly not capable of lowering my connection speed by close to 7Mbps.Comment

No, I can, just not off mIRC it would appear. Bittorrent still works well for downloading all my illegal material, even if I don't hit my max speed of 1100+K/sec. To piracy.
