Turkish Pizza is quite nice, I have had that, but not in Turkey only had it here in Singapore. But the chefs are Turkish, so I don't know how much it matters that I didn't get to eat Turkish Pizza in Turkey.

I don't know what Yankees like, but I don't like toppings very much. I only ever get one topping, usually beef or sausage.

                I like 'em both!

I will say though that there is a Brooklyn style pizza place close to here that is run by an ethnic Italian guy and it does have the best pizza I have ever eaten.

Still...everytime I go to Chicago...I'm going to be eating pizza!

NYC (or rather New Haven, CT, but that's another matter).

I don't like the deep dish style.

As was already stated, deep dish pizza is a pie, not true pizza. Pizza is made with bread dough, not pie crust.

As for wich version is closer to the Italian forerunners, there is no question that NY style pizza is closer.

Having lived in Chicago for four years, I can safely say that Che doesn't have a clue about pizza quality, if he thinks Chicago thin style is worth a damn. Might as well eat Dominos. Oh, and the the **** is with cutting round thin crust pizza into squares!?

Dude, the Chicago style pizza I had yesterday was made from regular pizza dough.

and yes, us yanks like our pizza. For me, it's a way of life. . But I don't eat it like I used to. I'd gain too much weight. When I was younger in the navy, I'd buy pizza like once a week. That's when I really started gaining weight. Now I only get it every few months.
