    • We still need to come up with the "hold a polymeet just to see Aneeshem, Ted Striker, Fez, Ned, and Pekka " thing.
Today, you are the waves of the Pacific, pushing ever eastward. You are the sequoias rising from the Sierra Nevada, defiant and enduring.

          • 1973.

By the way, I'm never drinking again.

Those last several in Adams Morgan put me over the top. I was hurtin' today at work.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

I didn't have that many though. Like 8 or 9.

I woke up at 0400, and got in at 0530 .

Remember, it's easier to keep the engine idling than start her up.
