I'm back. I had to leave early because my sister's coming back home from NYC and I'm going to go out to another party with real life people a little bit later.

                  People in attendance:
                  Timex
                  DanS
                  Jag
                  Kuci
                  KrazyHorse
                  Lonestar
                  OzzyKP
                  LordShiva

It was a pretty good group. I spent much of the time trying to get Ozzy to reveal details about the new Civ XP.

The latter four people I listed were ones I'd never met before. My first impressions: LordShiva was tall and fairly quiet, and although he was funny, he wasn't funny in the same over-the-top way that he is online. Lonestar was very, very Texan. KH was kind of small and snarky, like you'd think he'd be. OzzyKP was pretty quiet, but quite likeable.

                            • Heh, it wasn't really. Mostly just Jaguar and I. But I did notice that once I mentioned I was part of the tester group the rest of the table got quiet, heh.

Timex did. But only after half the people had already left, hehe.

                              • Good times.

Nice to see and meet y'all.

I think I underpaid on the check a little.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891
