Violence, dozens dead, UN convoys held back, artillery attacks on residential areas, thousands of refugees.
And total silence. What gives?

Anyone know if some of the other camps or areas or whatever you want to call them in Lebanon are getting restless or is this fairly isolated right now?
Seems interesting that there's fighting between Israel and Hamas and Lebanon and Fatah right now. I really wonder why Fatah decided to attack though. Doesn't seem smart to antagonize an enemy when they're just capturing some bank robbers.I never know their names, But i smile just the same

As far as I could tell, this mainly started as a splinter cell (of a splinter cell?), needed some cash and robbed a bank...
Everything else has mushroomed from there, with everyone chiming in with their axes to grind (people like LotM) and making all sorts of accusations etc.
The fact of the matter is that these people shouldn't even be in the Lebanon, but have been repatriated back to where they come from from the land stolen from them. It is little wonder that if you have lived in a refugee camp for almost 60 years, some of you *might* think about turning to crime...
Also what is happening here is proof positive that the Lebanese govt wouldn't have stood a snowball's chance in hell of being able to deal with Hezbollah, and thus did not deserve to be collectively punished with them by the failed Israeli attempts to crush them!
Oh look, I'm blaming Israel for this current incident...

They have been wronged, therefore they must be morally allowed to permit all sorts of crimes against whomever they feel like.
Obviously poor people can steal, and opressed people can murder. It's only fair!

Seriously though, it's a horrible situation . The people in the camps are ****ed. The Fatah terrorists are firing on them as they try to leave and the Lebanese have decided that they are ok as 'collateral damage' in their shelling.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

What a moron, if you truly think that's what I'm saying...
I mean, why would you post that otherwise...?

Still, we'll just turn a blind eye. Loads of innocent people will die, and in a few months we will have completely forgotten about it...

The Lebanon issue will be resolved shortly, and the camp dwellers will return to their pityful lives (one can research lebanon refugee camp living conditions).
Gazan's are already increasingly facing a full scale civil war. Not to mention the economic situation which is horrible. This won't stop in the near future. Unless the Hamas efforts to pull Israel inside will succeed. Then we'll be in a different set of trouble.
