Falwell's empire has been bequeathed to two of his sons. One gets the church, the other gets the University. It will be interesting to see how they follow his footsteps.
It all boils down to this, there are a lot of people who see Jerry Falwell's major accomplishment to be the salvation of Lynchburg. He brought a lot of money and jobs to this town at a time when it's other main economic bases where collapsing. His boys will be charged with keeping it going, but Jerry's tendency to spark controversy provided his enterprises with a lot of free publicity. Will his sons have to resort to similar tactics to keep the money rolling in or are his businesses now well established enough that they won't have to resort to arousing controversy?"I say shoot'em all and let God sort it out in the end!Comment

I don't think that most Christians associate Bush with Christianity. I know that none I know do, and my (conservative) church actually has messages which are against the current administration.

I don't think most Muslim's associate Saddam with Islam. Saddam removed Sharia law and inacted a secular state. Bush took a secular country and has tried to adapt laws to fit his faith. They move in the opposite direction.Smile
