Andromeda Strain (2008) episodes 1 & 2 (this is made worse by the fact that the original Andromeda Strain movie is )
Final Fantasy VII (so bad I couldn't force myself to watch it past first couple of minutes)

War of the Worlds (2005)
I liked the way in which allusions to 9/11 & the war on terror were embedded in the movie... the cinematography and the "boots-on-the-ground perspective" of the narrative gave the movie the feeling of a nightmare influenced by 21st century world eventsComment

I watched To Kill a King. It was pretty good, but some of teh characters pissed me off
