Watched Lee Marvin in 'Point Blank' .

What a film, what an actor.

Not a movie per se, but I recently watched the first Entourage DVD (season 1). HBO strikes again, IMO. Its about a young actor who arrives in Hollywood with his buddy from Queens. On one side, its pretty funny : movie premieres, star-studded parties and babes, babes and even more babes. Lots of cameos, too. At one point, they go to a party at Jessica Alba's house. On the other side its irritating when you see talentless morons being showered with money. But the star of the show, IMO, is Ari Gold, the main character's agent. He's a total a--hole, too.

Improbable Collapse, about what really happened to the World Trade Center. You can see it online here:

          Unbelievable!

            Last five movies I've watched

A scanner darkly: An ok drug movie. It took forever for it to have a point. Cool animation.

Soylent Green: This movie far surpassed my expactations of being some crappy 70's scifi movie. it felt modern, and it wasn't crappy.

The Omega Man: This was a crappy 70's scifi movie that I like (though it wasn't nearly as good as I remembered it). Cool plague. Cool shots of deserted LA. Cool premise. HOWEVER, albino mutants who hate technology and have a former news anchor as a leader falls far short of either Vampires [as per the book] or zombies. Albino mutants are retarded!

Hot Fuzz: Awesome action comedy that works as both a parady and a genuine action movie. The gun fight scene rules. As did the old woman getting dropped kicked!

Grindhouse: Planet Terror was another awesome action comedy. It's one of the best humorous zombie films ever made. It's one of the best action movie ever! The trailers were great. Nick Cage as Fu Man Chu is hilarious. Death Proof was interesting, but pointless. Far inferior to Planet Terror.

Next two movies I'm going to see.

Spiderman 3 in about 18 hours.

            28 Weeks Later this weekend.

The plot was meh, but the actors were great. Don't you think so? Especially Robert Downey Jr.? Not sure why, but I noticed for the first time that Winona Ryder has cleavage.

I do think the acting was pretty solid, especially the scene in the car when Robert Downey Jr. was talking about leaving the door unlocked. However, no discernable plot existed until the last ten minutes of the movie. Even then it was just ok. I had completely different expectations for this movie.

Dracula's Daughter. Very atmospheric, with strong lesbian subtext (especially for the times).

Saw Denis Arcand's 'Barbarian invasions' again. Still a very good movie, IMO. Forgot to check how they translated that hillarious scene when they're around a camp fire and talk about blowjobs.

                        Spiderman 3.

It's only worth it for the Jazz Club scene which is cut short.
Lysistrata: It comes down to this: Only we women can save Greece.
Kalonike: Only we women? Poor Greece!

                          Pirates 3

Really fun ending (hopefully) to the trilogy.

just got done watching Lord of War. Excellent movie. I guess that means I'm getting old. I'd rather watch a movie like that than Pirates 3. I still haven't seen the first one.

I've been watching a lot of movies lately since I can't play computer games.

Obviously from recent posts, you guys should have deduced I have been watching the original 3 star wars movies.

I also watched the second half of Star Trek 5 today. Planet of the Apes (original- like there is any other) and Lord of War.

oh I also watched Lethal Weapon 2 today.

I sure do watch a lot of movies.

Saw "The Last King of Scotland". An excellent movie. Forrest Whitaker is great.

Also saw "Pirates of the Caribean 2". Meh. Boring movie.

Anybody saw "The lives of others"? I heard its an amazing movie.
