  • I know its corny, but I can't help but love how Peter is becoming Superman/Neo. He doesn't seem to gain leadership traits though, he's more Neo than he is Superman.

There's only a few things that could stop him, that guy who disables powers and a virus.

    • So can we declare DL a moron for taking a bullet instead of just phasing them both?

Other than that, yeah, pretty much as expected. I still wish they had gone with Micah building a bomb instead of giving the power to Sylar...if they start out telling you what's going to happen, then actually do what they told you, it feels like something of a letdown.

      • I'd imagine it took him by surprise... phased too slowly to avoid. They had to do the defiant post, because its a standard cliche. Just is.

        • "Landslide" left me with a serious feeling of meh. I want to have liked this episode, but I didn't.

                • So far everything has developed according to plan. They haven't actually changed anything yet.

Could they actually let the bomb be set off and New York destroyed?

Parkman & Bennet are hilarious together. Doesn't look like it ends well next week...

                    • So three important characters killed last night, and one severely wounded; how many will join the choir invisible in the finale?

                      My guesses:
                      Spoiler:
D.L. won't survive his wound; Ando will be killed (perhaps by Hiro "cutting out his own heart"); Nathan will redeem himself and sacrifice himself to save the city, perhaps by flying an overloading Peter out over the ocean.

                        heh? I count only 2

                        Spoiler:
radioactive guy and mr. lieberman, who am I missing

Hiro learning to fight from his dad, and learning that there was a previous team that fought to save the world makes sense out of Lieberman, Mrs. Patereli, and Hiro's dad.

I read that NBC has not only renewed Heroes, but has added Heroes: Origins... Spin offs are usually disappointing thing

                          Errrr...

                          Spoiler:
That's LINDERMAN, not to be confused with the Senator from Connecticut... and the radioactive guy is named Ted Sprague, btw

                          • But, yeah of the dying characters, I only remember Ted and Linderman. D.L. is badly wounded and Ando is heading to certain death unless stopped.

                              Spoiler:

Thompson (putting gun to Parkman's head): What am I thinking now, Parkman?
Bennet (appears behind Thompson, putting a gun to his head): Your last thought.

True, but my understanding is that Origins will run during Heroes' hiatus, so it seems like more an extension than a spin-off. Apparently, they'll introduce a new super every week, and the fans will get to choose one to add into the regular show.
