    Sarkozy
    Royal
    LePen
    Bayrou
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

The initial estimates are saying Sarkozy-Royal by a mile. Pretty boring...

            1.
            Nicolas Sarkozy (UMP)
            26-27,5 %
            2.
            Ségolène Royal (PS)
            26%
            3.
            Français Bayrou (UDF)
            19 %
            4.
            Jean-Marie Le Pen (FN)
            11-12 %

Though Royal is demonstrating some momentum. If it continues through the run-off, the Presidency is hers (the last head-to-head poll I saw showed Sarkozy up by only 2%)...

Maybe boring but infinitely less than the previous Chirac Le Pen which ment Chirac as soon as it was known. A good thing too if Bayrou is in front of Le Pen.

Not too much a surprise though... Bayrou made a valiant effort, but too short, and Le Pen is left no where close.

So Le Pen got less than the amounts predicted in polls. Kind of puts Doddler's comments about him being underestimated in perspective

Well Stewart Spink/Nimrod/Park Avenue/Doddler has a point though. People do tend to not be willing to admit support for Le Pen.

Glad that he got whooped though

P.S. Wasn't there a handle between SS and Nimrod?? I seem to remember there was, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was

I guess the people who voted for him, and those who voted for Le Pen, will go to Sarkozy
