Spelling here is atrocious. It's a disease getting worse. I wish it were only confined to Oerdin and GePap

I saw Ming spell it 'envolvement' then Drogue spell hear as 'here'. I'm spotting these errors and I've been in the pub the last 5 hours. It's abysmal!

Well, I'm a little weird, becasuse my mum was born in '65, and my father in '48, so I have been brought up by a boomer and a Gen X, yet in the GenY culture...

You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

It's usually not about spelling... but about fast typing and not really caring. These are forums, so I don't really care.

When I send business or personal letters/notes/emails, I'm far more careful and also check my work to make sure it's right.

        Here... who cares.

I understand why, I make mistakes all the time. It's still painful to see.

And it's not fast typing, it's about how the mind wants to type phonetically. You can't blame confusing an 'e' and an 'i' on fast typing.

while that may be true, anyone on the gravy train of a generation for individual success or failure or strife isnt being intellectually honest.

all baby boomers shouldnt bask in the glow of achievement of a few baby boomers just as all gen xers shouldnt be counted among the aimless gen xers.

Well...Good Ole Wikipedia. This also from Wikipedia:

"There is some disagreement as to the exact beginning and end dates of the baby boom, but the range most commonly accepted is as starting in 1946 and ending in 1964"

                  From the Boomer initiative:

"A Profile of the Baby Boom Years: 1946-1964"

                  From Aging Hipsters:

"The Baby Boomer Generation is a source for trends, research, comment and discussion of and by people born from 1946 - 1964."

                  From It seems like yesterday:

"Born between 1946 and 1964, the Baby Boomers have impacted on every facet of society - from music to movies, politics to poetry, and fashion to fast food"

All three of those sites are the sources used in the wikipedia article on Baby Boomers.

So....Barak seems to be a boomer.

One might even say a late boomer......
