I have a GMC Sierra, Z71, crew cab, 4x4... it's a '98 so it only has 3 doors (1/2 door on the passenger side). I would recommend the Chevy, and I wish I had the 4 door. I have 130,000k miles and haven't had any real major problems with it. Still, I would take the extended warrenty just in case. Also, I would of gotten LineX instead of PendalinerComment

You seem to have some contradictory requirements there, Flubber. You want to pack it up to go to the ski hill, but four wheel drive is optional. You also want to be able to take four guys (presumably adults?) plus ski gear but only want a compact truck. Toyota Tacoma is great for small size and can carry four people. Nothing about four people comfortably, though, but yes, four people (and if they're kids they won't mind.) Had one that took quite the usage.meet the new boss, same as the old bossComment
