I didn't take any painkillers. Hurt a bit for the next couple days, but not really that bad. The taste in my mouth bothered me more than the pain.

I DONT NEED TO GET A ROOT CANAL! It's just a cavity. My first cavity. I'm getting a filling on Wednesday. That means noisy things in my mouth. I'm afraid.

Is there anyone else here whose wisdom teeth have come through without any trouble?

I've never had a filling either - which is apparently a miracle for someone from the UK if Americans are to be believed...
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

            Never had a filling

I've had six teeth out under general anaesthetic though, my teeth were too good to fall out

That's quite possible given the state of dentistry and hygiene in the UK.

Brushing your gums immediately after having surgery on them is a very good idea...

Brushing them straight after eating is not.
