forget anything about "emboldening" me. i do not have an EGO and i do not feel JOY about "winning" any sort of a chat debate. actually i like making friends and engaging in deep conversations about interesting topics. as ive said before in this thread... this whole thing started by me defending my friend Laurentius. Im sorry if you dont like him but thats not really my buisness or problem. I have a very bad reputation on 'Poly... but people that have spoken to me in private KNOW that all of the bad stuff people think about me is nothing but false rhetoric. Im sorry if you see me as an enemy, but not too long ago i WAS still considered a "noob" and i KNOW firsthand what the OTF thinks of 'NOOBS...' i cant think of anything else right now so...

Sadly, for Asher, playing Twilight Princess is ideologically unacceptable. The punishment for even thinking about it positively is self-flagellation with an Xbox cable.

It's blurry on my HDTV, and quite repetitive. The control pad on a 20" SDTV would make it a much more enjoyable experience, but I only tried the Wii version.

            • I think Bluray's support from the studios is grossly exaggerated:

It looks like all of Fox's winter Blu-ray releases have been bumped with the exception of two. So, fox brought the ax down on Me, Myself & Irene, The Fly, Turistas, Dude, Where's My Car, From Hell, and Mr. & Mrs. Smith - their all gone. The only two that have avoided the chopping block is the newly-released Eragon and The Night at the Museum (great family film BTW) which is slated for April 24 - for now. What happened to all these Blu-ray titles? Problems at the studio? Fox jumping the Blu-ray ship and treading water 'till the HD DVD ship can pick 'em up? Who knows but we just hope they get their act together soon as we know you want to watch Aston Kutcher and his award-winning role in Dude, Where's My Car.

You are the only person in the world who has actually had difficulty pointing with the Wiimote. I think that disqualifies you from ever commenting on a Wii game's control scheme.

Are you using analog or digital cables? it looks perfectly crisp on the HDTV at home with the digital cable.

Halo is quite repetive. The mouse and keyboard on a 20" monitor would make it a much more enjoyable experience, but I only tried the Xbox version

Well, see, it was fun at first. At this point, though... meh.

You are delusional. The Wiimote is not a precise pointer -- light guns are more accurate.

Digital cables?? Wii has no such thing. You've no idea what you're talking about.

If you're going to mock my statement, at least show that you comprehended it.

The reason I said the 20" SDTV would be better is bigscreen 1080p HDTVs amplify the many, many graphical flaws in Zelda and are quite distracting.

I think the controller control scheme is better because the Wiimote's actions do not correspond with Link's actions, and in many cases are downright frustrating (eg, fishing). It's a halfassed implementation -- I prefer a controller, and I'm far from the only one.
