No comment as to the EU's disunited position and how the US took advantage of that to get a more favorable treaty result? No comment on why the continentals all like this treaty but the UK doesn't?

Since the EU won't become more united any time soon I honestly do think the EU's best option is to take the current treaty then use the 2010 option to block out American owned airlines if the US doesn't reciprocate by opening up its domestic routes. Right now the various European powers are all seeing partisan gains so they're not worried about collective bargaining.

French pussiness? No one beats us when it comes to the amoral defense of our national interest. As an avowed realist, you should love us for that...

The Hun are ruthless killing machines. It's all well and good to talk tough about taking them on singlehandedly while you sit safely on the other side of the Atlantic, but things look a lot different when you're right next door to a nation full of soulless kill-bots.

At any rate, they're our *****es now...

If you're going to "fix" something, you could at least make sure the grammar is correct. Christ, I speak your native language better than you do...

In the same way that Egypt is a gift of the Nile, England is a gift of the channel.
It has always allowed the english to have a place where to lick their wounds safely after getting their ass kicked in europe, and kept them from facing french, spanish or german armies in their territory which surely would have beaten them, when the dutch destroyed the british navy, the english trembled at the possibility of the dutch transporting the french soldiers across the channel....

I do not feel the need to comment because you are simply confirming my demonstration that US, Uk and eastern EU members, all officially lovers of free trade, subordinate their love to their advantage anytime they find an opportunity.( To be honest, I was also sleeping )
Therefore, we will appreciate a lot your stopping of argumenting that free trade is the best thing the EU can do in all matters, since it is not done by those who contend that it is good for the world.
