No, but you place those who follow your cultural's values (which are a small minority on the planet, even now) as having more maturity than those who do not. Since there is no link between following your culturals values, and the other, more commonly attributed signs of maturity, this suggests that your definition of maturity is lacking, or is cultural specific.

Since it is cultural specific, it isn't really a measure of those who aren't members of your culture... including people from the previous culture who live in the same geographical boundaries.

Note I am not arguing relativism. I am not saying that all cultures are equal. I am talking about maturity.
