Yes, and I hate on both equally. Note that it's typically you women folk that overdo it with the perfume.

It is, and old women at that. I think they really just don't smell themselves, that's the problem.

But I have to say that I don't like when people smell. Be it tobacco, and I mean people do smell bad after smoking. It's really strong smell too, it's like .. it makes you have nausea, that smell.

So people have to be considerate. I don't mind if someones BO let's them down sometimes, but those people who always smell and don't make an effort, well they are just being rude.

its plausible to ban smoking outdoors, its not feasible though.

Go Mobe. I can't wait for it. In fact I've decided to avoid all pubs now till it's brought in. The resulting bounce upwards in my alcohol consumption following the ban should distort any post-ban sales upwards

Actually, there is one slight gripe about the smoking ban...

A couple of the Brains' Pubs are non-smoking and as such are almost always very quiet despite being in the centre of town. 33 Windsor Place especially is very nice, and I fear that when the ban comes into effect, their exclusivity will suddenly be no more...
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

Not had a good pint of Brains SA for a long while...

It will certainly be interesting to see how pub- and bar-life changes when July arrives.

Personally I'm looking forward to seeing all the filthy scrotes being chucked out when they light up..cos many will!

It has happened where I live. Because the casinos got an exemption from the smoking ban. I think it was a conspiracy by the casinos to steal business from local bars. ****ing greedy corporations.

I dont get all anti smoking beatin on a railing telling everyone the downfalls of smoking.

But, I dont smoke the last i did regualar was marijuana years and years ago and if I remember correctly someone was saying smoking pot was worse or some say it is not founded.

I dont judge but rather ask other to respect my right to go some place where I am not subjected to it.

I dont like the smell of smoke on my clothes or on my food.

Again, i am not judgeing just asking for the option to not have to be around it in public places.

Now as far as banning smoking outside I say smokers have the right to have some area for themselves

As for the nurse who got raped because she had to smoke in an area where the rapists attacked her, the smoking didnt get her raped, the motives of the rapist, whether he was an opportunist or not, got her raped. I wont say she did anything to help the situation by being alone in woods if thats where she was raped but certainly her smoking ban inside had little to do with her most unfortunate of events.

Again smoke 'em if ya got em but please respect the rights of those who do not want to smoke or smell the stench.

Now, I am sure someone will attack my stance but in no way am I attacking smokers, merely asking for some space.

Yes I could go somewhere else which I do most times, but doesnt mean I shouldn't have somewhere that non smokers can relax in relative peace, same as smokers who want to partake, I dont go in and put a fan in front of the,m and spritz them with Ohh dee doo da day cologne

                            Ok

                            My small insignifigant response.
