Keeping it real would be so nice right now
I love my job…but I hate my employees.
I’d tell them all, but I cant. It wouldn’t be ethical…I’d kick them all out, except 2, but I’d scrap our production…
My direct boss likes me, but the one who pays me, hates me.
He hates me because, at work, I’m not a loveable huggable type of guy. He says that I don’t laugh or smile enough at work and it intimidates my employees. BS, imo. I’m not here to make friends, I’m here to do a job and I do it pretty damn fvcking well too. And besides, do I look like a freaking Sunday morning cartoon show?!
He says that only because he heard that from employees…So what? Where ever I worked in my life, my boss has never been my friend, I was there to do a job, and I did it. And the reason I got the promotion I got is because of my big mouth and my hard head and I don’t let people walk all over me...They told me so, but now, its too much…
Make up your fcking mind.
But they don’t want me to leave because of all of the things I know and the way I setup things here. Nobody else knows how it works, so if I leave, the’re in deep. Like customer upc codes, prices and discounts, production times and inventory concumption, suppliers and contacts…
But I’m really on the verge of quitting this job. I have trouble working for hypocrite employees and a boss that doesn’t appreaciate my work and focuses on the unimportant stuff like my personality. The important thing, imo, is the job that I do, not if I make people smile or not. It’s if my employees do what they should, not if they laugh when I come in the room. It’s not a ****ing party, its work, welcome to the real world.
And I’m the most understanding guy here. They need to leave for whatever reason, its always fine, the’re sick, I don’t mind, they want time off, sure, no problem. I don’t smile often, AND THEY WHINE!! Well **** you!
And outside of work, I’m like an 18 year old, always laughing and joking and partying.….But its OUTSIDE of work, where it belongs…
I’m on the verge of quitting this shlt, but I have to find another one first. But I’m afraid that the grass wont be greener on the other side.
Spec.
