How would you feel if 8 homeless guys decided they were going to stay at your place right now? You don't know them but they want to be who they are .. .

Do you call the police or do you welcome them or do you use violent means (with friends) to expel them?
They had been using the facilites for 18 years. The place was built by the Left in 1890. And now it is demolished.

Now how the **** is this about whether I should have to let homeless people stay at my house? WTF Flubber?!

less incentive = less motivation. teh FACT. The squatters threw a tantrum... and got spanked

Hardly, you have no idea the thoughts that are racing through my mind.

really? if they are anti-christian thoughts, you are taking this situation WAY out of context im afraid...

They should be obligated to leave people alone to go about their business instead of trying to make everyone like them.

Would thosae be the same groups that gave them the use of the facility in the first place and then let them use it for free for years. Sounds like a sweet deal-- THey should have been grateful

rent amt = incentive to rent

            wages = incentive to work

That doesn't answer the question. The Christians were the new owners of the property the hooligans claimed to care so much about yet couldn't be arsed to buy. Under what obligation were the new owners under to let squatters have continued use of the property?

No it is not the same group. They were given the right to use the facility by the city. The city decided to sell it. Christians bought it cheap and wouldn't sell it. Instead they demolished it.

Valid question-- They need a place to stay and they choose your house/apartment-- It doesn't have to be logical but its what they choose. They are definitely disadvantaged by society and their need is greater than yours. Shouldn't you allow them to stay as long as they want? Wouldn't asserting a property right be the heights of hypocrsy?

If they don't want to fight they should be obligated. That's all I can answer for you.

WTF Flubber, they should have their own house. I don't know why you make me go through all this irrelevent stuff.

                        • So there is no real obligation in your view. Only attempted violent coercion by the hooligans or punks as Pekka would say.

So isn't their complaint with the city?

Would you be ranting at all if a group that you had some common views with had bought the building

There is no legal obligation for christ sake. What is your point?

Yes they have a complaint with the city, however they also have a complaint with the buyers which is the bigger issue.
