    Actually, it's either in this case, but by the by I would think it's as easier for many people to pay in £1,500 than it is to maintain that balance.

    My bank requires a certain minimum which I maintain to avoid a charge of £15 a month. I do get free travel insurance, mobile phone insurance, breakdown cover and a few other bonuses, so it's worth it to me.

          Poor merchants who accept your cards, they are overpaying if they look completely the same.

          That is to say the charge structure is different and debit cards cost merchants less to accept than credit cards.
