      I remember some surveys a ways back. These things change depending on current popularity. Pele was popular and if I recall surpassed Muhhamed Ali but was then surpassed by Michael Jordan. I doubt Jordan is anywhere near the top anymore as he is notplaying or advertising nearly as much as he once did but...

              My vote is the Pope

              Though it probably depends on how the question is worded. Multiple choice makes the pope much more likely, while fill in the blank makes Bush probably more likely. But it might still be the pope. Who knows.
