I think the current moderation level is really good. It used to be good earlier as well, but I prefer the current way more, because you can really go at it too, but enough is enough. But should you get warned now, you can't say, "was it something I said?"...

I must say though, DanQ is a bit trigger-happy in the Apolyton/Community forum - it is like a graveyard of dead threads...

Well, I guess it's the tradeoff, right? Off Topic is the place for laxity and he'll clamp down on the Community forum. I guess it makes his job easier, so he can see the actual suggestions/complaints on that forum and we can have all our fun here (and +1's

).

Though the best was the old SMAC alpha OWO off topic board. With MikeH, Roland, Gregor, Dominkos, YYYH and the boys and very little to no moderation. Ah, good times

The holidays were a post-killer for me. That and I "got placed" (had an actual job to do).

And now, while I'm not currently placed I still have to get my wife and kids to Brazil (harder than you'd think).

but after that I'll have tons of free time! (Ooh, gotta tell Dan)
