The master of Abba spamming has created yet another spam thread
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

I've started posting in OT more, but this may also have something to do with that the Civ 4 buzz ended. It was the same when Civ 3 was released...

Sometimes I wish I still played Civ IV. Or any game, come to that.

          I echo this sentiment. *sigh*

The community forum has also seen better days and better jokes.

Frankly it also has to do with DanQ locking every thread.

But I actually think that the OT is slowly recovering. It has had its worse time just after post counts were given back, and I was afraid it would be attributed to that and then anulled.

Because you see, the effect of post count is slow growing.

It is slowly becoming more fun to post. More fun topics are being created.

More people come here too, slowly.

Face it, we're in dire need. We have like 15-20 regaular posters.....

It used to be around 60 or more.

I would like to think that it's still intended to be a message board, not a chat room. Which, if the current trends continue, it will come to resemble more and more.

If the data were available, I'm pretty sure it would show there's a mostly direct inverse correlation between my posts per day and the forum's posts per day.

I am also sure there would be an inverse correlation also between Winston posting and the amount of joy people receive at this place

Nonsense. You overestimate your ability to kill discussion here.

Nonsense. We live all over the world and post in different time zones. Many of us are incapable of typing a quick post anyway, which makes it much more of a forum/message board than a chat room.

Nonsense. I'm just being contrarian on this thread for the sake of it. And killing time before the next South Park is on.
