While I can see your point at times, the reason you don't see mod actions is because we started deleting, as opposed to closing threads a while ago. I've deleted quite a few threads that were copycat or general spam threads recently, and I'm sure the other mods have too. There's a fine line between allowing minor spam and deleting relatively interesting threads. I tend to take a view that if I have doubt, I'll leave it, as the forum is an off topic forum to be used as the community wishes to use it. If many people start to say they want a firmer hand with moderation, I'll be more than happy to oblige, but I don't want to alienate people by deleting posts or threads that they were enjoying and weren't breaking the rules.
