QFT. I expect this 'survey' says more about miserablism in the UK than living standards.

      so, what you're really saying

is that this survey is an accurate, inverse measure of the state of tabloid journalism in those countries?
“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To 'see through' all things is the same as not to see.”

Personally I'm not saying anything about other countries. Just about Britain.

Could be. Austria has something like a monopolized boulevard journalism. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kronen_Zeitung

I don't know about Hungary, however, and Germany would have to score worse when it comes to that.
"The world is too small in Vorarlberg". Austrian ex-vice-chancellor Hubert Gorbach in a letter to Alistar [sic] Darling, looking for a job...
"Let me break this down for you, fresh from algebra II. A 95% chance to win 5 times means a (95*5) chance to win = 475% chance to win." Wiglaf, Court jester or hayseed, you judge.

Well atleast we're best at something for a change
Learn to overcome the crass demands of flesh and bone, for they warp the matrix through which we perceive the world. Extend your awareness outward, beyond the self of body, to embrace the self of group and the self of humanity. The goals of the group and the greater race are transcendant, and to embrace them is to acheive enlightenment.

That's just one aspect. Don't worry. Overall, the U.S. remains the industrialized nation with the shortest lifespans and the highest healthcare costs. --But it's okay, because our health insurance companies are raking in the profits.

(We'd rank higher than the USA on this list too!)

If by you mean Utah sucks, correct.

Only 'cause you're all brainwashed. Though I think Tassi would even it out, really.

Deseret... you can't keep calling it Utah if you want it out of the US... it's counterproductive. Come on now, make up your mind.

And the 3 thumbs were obviously a reference to the nuclear testing that occurred here, duh! (EDIT: "inbreeding" would also have been an acceptable answer.)

                      The brainwashing? Or the ranking?

Tassi fits right in here... You know Mormons tried communism (sorta) already? Maybe that's why some of the first westerners allowed into the USSR and communist China were LDS missionaries?

I meant in the ranking by kid satisfaction or whatever it was they were measuring (by bringing it down).

And why would you be on the list, anyway? It's for first-world countries.

You have really weird age limits for "kid"...

Utah's economy is capitalist, government is Democratic, and the standard of living in Utah is higher than the US average. Deseret would be first-world if the US is... (At least until we revolted to a Mormon Theocracy.)
