Thanks for reminding me why I don't live in Britain.
Why can't you be a non-conformist just like everybody else?

That's not even cold you dimwit! Not to mention the fact that these temps are at the coldest point of the night - of course it's cold! Come back when they're during the day.

Besides, the coldest place is just down the road from me - so I don't know what you're whingeing about...

So, how's the security guard job going anyway? Or at least I assume that's why you work nights.

I don't know how you can stand it. Anything lower than +15C is a reason to stay at home for me.

Sennybridge daytime temp will be 2 C today - oh my god my fingers are falling off from frostbite!!!

A lot of UK polytubbies haven't checked in yet.

I hope the Big Freeze didn't get them.

I had to have my left foot amputated due to frostbite.

                      It's almost 17C here. Brrrrrr.

Yeah, I've been trapped in the house by a rather nasty frost...I don't expect to be going anywhere for a while...

Oh God, everyone thinks we're wimps anyway.

                          This isn't that cold.

If it was during the day then fair enough that would be cold as we are not used to it. But everyone's got central heating so its not a problem.
Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

No, not everyone has central heating.

I'm just being sarcastic...those kinds of temperatures aren't uncommon, and didn't cause any disruption...it's the snow that we seem to struggle with...
