It's interesting that there were enough Jews in southern India for one of the local princes to actually specify which professions Jews were allowed to practice.
True, there is a small Jewish community in Kerala (and I think there's one in Bombay, too; the ones in Calcutta left for Israel, I think. LoTM would know all this better than I would).

Of course, they look nothing like in that picture, which I presume the person who was putting that poster together downloaded from the internet after clicking on the first Google Images link for "shifty characters" or something.

The Indian people,,, as a whole,,,,, were never themselves the host of raci,st thoughts or feeling,s, It is only with the British imperialism that such a thing was known to Indians (except in areas that, had come into contact with Muslims and other non-Hindus,) This is not to say that the Indians would have, on their, own, never had formed "racis,t ideas", as we will never know; India was colonized by the British (and influenced by Muslims, too,,).

There,, is nothing unequal about the caste system,,. I am from the upper caste, while others are not. This is not wrong, as it is the way it should be. Therefore, we can see, there can be no, inequality.

Do you really need to have a cartoon strip to remind you to not eat food from a stranger on mass transit?
Are you ****ing stupid? Have you lost you ever-loving mind, in total?

                          BS, for two reasons:
                          1. No matter how justified the reasons are inequality is still inequality.
                          2. The justifications of the caste system suck

What is surprising to me is the fact that you equate inequality with racism. I'd say the example sucks because it has nothing to do with racism.

                          Or was that sarcasm?

I'm not really surprised by this - the people who write these signs are notoriously dumb/not properly educated/don't know English well/lazy/don't know how to operate a computer properly or are government officials (but I repeat myself ). Anti-Semitism would be a problem is people even knew who Jews were - very few people in India are aware of Judaism, and even fewer know that there exist tiny Jewish communities in India.

Probably, the guy who made this wasn't even aware that it shows a bunch of Jews - there is, as I said, almost zero awareness about Judaism and Jews in India, and nobody knows what a stereotypical Jew is supposed to look like. For him, it was probably a bearded guy with food in front of him reading a book.
