They will celebrate for nothing, cuba could embraze libertarianism tomorrow and miami cubans would still not be allowed tyo return to the island since thery are hated by the island population

(By miami cubans I mean the displaced elite which escaped when Castro took power, not the rest which moved to the USA for the same reason mexicans move to the USA)

While Cubans in Cuba might not love Fidel, the sight of the gusanos having a huge party at the same time they will be having a large funeral, at which most Cubans will probably be grieving (just as people genuinely greived when Stalin die)

Remind me when Cuba fought a war of national/racial survival against an invader that took millions of lives.

I doubt that without the Great Patriotic War, there would have been as much grieving for Stalin as there was.
