I met the head of the progressive Miami Cubans the other day. You know how he got his position? The gusanos assassinated the guy before him, right here in the U.S., where we have free speech and the rule of law and they can't do that sort of thing . . . legally. The key witness against Posada, he found a pipe bomb under his car the other day.

Ive met the children of 1960 cubans since elementary school (yeah, NY cubans, not Miami) They were perfectly decent people. One became a lefty in college. One guy I knew in college (Reuben the Cuban) was a Jewish guy, and as nice as anyone else. AFAIK there were plenty of decent ordinary folks in the 1960 flight, who left for all kinds of reasons. Most werent all that politically active, though they didnt like Castro.
