I draw the line at those who cause physical harm to others.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

I dont like castro, and I wouldnt consider killing Castro an act of terrorism )in the same way that I wouldnt consider killing Franco iwould have been an act of terrorism), but this guy has killed many many innocent people.

If Miami cubans support this monster, even if communism falls in Cuba, there would be no reconciliation between the 2 cuban communities-

It's not an unreasonable thought. Most of Eastern Europe turned over properties to the old ruling classes after the Velvet revolutions. Some Habsburg is trying to sell Bran Castle, the "Castle of Dracula," (it really isn't).

                  1. If you plan to have a demo, at least have a croud big enough to protect itself.

                  2. If you plan to counter a far-right demo, you have to be extra careful and be prepared for conflict. Pick a first line squad of able bodied men who can take a beating and protect the women and elderly to the rear. Bring your banners and pickets on some hefty sticks, just in case. Bring your motorcycle helmet.

                  3. In such circumstances, you have to be the one to choose the odds. If you're outnumbered, you must be able to easily reach safety. If you outnumber them, make sure you control your croud and make sure you are cohesive and determinate enough to act in unison. The is nothing worse morale-wise like being the bigger side and being coaxed into passiveness by a determined opponent.

                  4. If you want to strike, do so only if all your group is informed beforehand and agrees and only if you have a declared policy of zero-tolerance against your opponent (would be applicable more to neonazis). However, if you have any influence on your group, do not counter the majority's wishes, so if they all want to strike, let them; it's a collective decision. Striking hard on an opponent who thinks you're all softies and thinks that has the upper hand is necessary from time to time, to break their morale. Still, warn everyone about the possible backlash from the opponent's side. Do not act as if trying to start a vendetta: the reasons why not are innumerable.

                  5. The press is crucial. In this case, it happened to work for you, because the other side couldn't control themselves. It could be very different if the browl had started after some verbal insults (or ever a few projectiles) had been exchanged, because then the blame would be shared.

                  6. The lack of police in force is good because a) they are usually friendlier to the other side b) we don't want their iron fist shutting down demos. OTOH, police presence (i.e. a couple of officers) is wanted, because the far right is more prone to go into extremes, so they act as a deterrnet.

Maybe that's because Cuban reality actually is a bit more complicated than Communists vs. Democrats. Of course, being in theUS I'd promote my opposition to Castro by pointing out the true spirit of democracy and freedom. Surely there are such Cubans who believe in those ideals too, but there's also this pretty fascist crowd that just hides behind the words. And there are not few of them.

I think this is incorrect. The only time you hear of right wing demostrations going violent is the pathetic KKK/Neo Nazi rallies that atract like 20 people and usually it is the much larger counter-protesters who start the violence.

But just look at the WTO, G8, and various enviromental protests, decided left, that have sometimes 10,000 people rioting/burning/looting for days on end.

Why would someone be arsed to go to Little Havanna to counter protest? Thats where they live, who are they protesting to? Kind of cowardly atucally, to protest somewhere most people probobly agree with you.

Now if they went the the city hall, or DC, perhaps I would care.
