That actually happened? Have no fears Pekka, she was probably trying to see if there was anything there.

I think that was a reflex action arising out of a fear of having his cheney frozen.

Yes, these are very threatning posts to me. You can't hurt me! I think you are just jealous that the penis clan won the war.

From now, when a form asks me for my sex or gender, I'm writing in "penis clan."

And they are interdependant.
What's intuition? Is it some kind of magic? If so, I don't believe in it. Nor do I necessarily go with the usual blather about women being better at 'processing emotions', whatever the hell that means.

If women feel they need a trump card of their own to counter men's physical strength advantage, it's simply the ability to produce more humans, which is a distinctively more impressive achievement than any muscle power advantage - which could easily be achieved with a simple machine anyway. I understand that sperm is no longer required - and in fact for some animals (like the Komodo dragon) it has never been required. So as far as Pekka's hypothetical war goes - if all women were to be destroyed, it would be the end of humanity, but not so if it was the other way round.

So the power of women is their ability to give birth - which I suppose comes broadly under the 'nurturing' capacity. So, one out of four. Oh yeah - 'Group Dynamics' just sounds like a corporate buzzword to me, so I don't go with that either.

The other power that women have is the ability to be far more attractive than men, and to make my jaw drop and go weak at the knees. Apart from that, I see men and women as equal.

What? No, there are six stalls in one bathroom per floor, each floor has about 40 people.

                              ....

Intuition: " the power or faculty of attaining to direct knowledge or cognition without evident rational thought and inference "...... in my experience, men tend to operate more via rationality/logic than women. Whereas women then to have more of a balance between the rational and the 'intuitive'. I wouldn't call it magic...my belief is that we all (men and women) have this ability. Hey! We only use less than 10% of our brain...if we develop it, we'll all have intuition.

For the spiritually inclined, intuition is also believed to be related to 'consciousness'....and there are different levels of consciousness.

As for 'emotions' and 'group dynamics'...buzz words, indeed. However, I think perhaps they would all fit under the nurturing category. Man...hunter-gatherer...needed all the physical strength for the hunt . Woman, picked berries and nurtured the young...which requires nurturing skills. Emotional ups and downs of the young had to be understood...booboos kissed and tears wiped. As the men went out for the hunt, women had to stick together in groups - security in numbers. Which means they have to know how to get along with with each other.

I wish this "fact" would stop being spread around. It's so thoroughly false.

Women's intuition... I can't speak for. But I'll say a couple of things.

Unless someone can demonstrate or hypothesize a physical process by which women could exercise the faculty of intuition, I don't even think it's worth talking about.

Also, if a study were done of women's intuition, I'm willing to bet it would show that yes, of course women get things right sometimes, and yes, they remember those correct guesses; but they probably forget or never realize the nearly countless times their intuition doesn't come through or leads them astray.
