OK, I have

42 Pubs + Bars
2 zillion restaurants
14 music venues
819 other shops
9 Embassies
8 lakes
7 Government ministeries
6 parks
5 sports stadia
4 volcanoes
3 railway stations
2 space ports
and a Partridge in a Pear tree



I might make a serious list sometime if I go out with a notepad and a stopwatch

And how much driving can you get done in 2 minutes when you have to get in your car start it, drive and park. A bicycle, however, is a different matter

suprisingly, no, though there is a small town NW of here called Climax.

a softball field and about 5 soccer fields

Stretch it out to about 10 minutes and I could get to either of two neighborhood shopping areas each with gas, bars, restaurants, grocery stores, doctors and assorted specialty stores

2 minutes. how far is 2 minutes? We have a dumpy pub in a small strip shopping center. a jack in the box. a circle K. The strip center has a generic chinese restaurant, a smoke shop, a generic pizza shop, and maybe a cleaners. I never go there. And we also have a 99 cent store. The rest are just houses.
